"He just floats over the air."
Meher Mount
Your Friday photo celebrates the 70th anniversary of Meher Baba’s day at Meher Mount on August 2, 1956…
Artist Charlie Mills captured the long, swift strides of Avatar Meher Baba walking across the field at Meher Mount. His followers are hurrying to keep up with Him.
“For me, this painting speaks eloquently of Meher Baba’s beauty, energy and guidance for those fortunate enough to travel in His wake. It can be a wonderful aid in helping to visualize and feel Meher Baba’s presence at Meher Mount," said Sam Ervin, Board President.
“So, Baba was walking up this hill, and I tell you, you could not keep up with Him. It’s impossible.
He just floats over the air.
And many people fell behind, including me, and we just couldn’t follow the way He was going.
He was just going and going on. And His men even were running, and it’s just a walk with Him.”
