Your Friday photo celebrates the 70th anniversary of Avatar Meher Baba’s day at Meher Mount on August 2, 1956…
“An interesting point here is to reflect on what a great number of treasured and holy spots Baba has left with us to be revered by generations to come," noted Kitty Davy, a close disciple who was at Meher Mount with Meher Baba that day in August.
Darwin Shaw, also at Meher Mount on that August 2nd, took this photo of Avatar Meher Baba (blue coat) talking to Meher Mount co-founder and lifetime caretaker Agnes Baron (orange skirt).
The group is standing at the swimming pool — which is now used as a water reservoir for fire abatement.
