“Women of the Valley: 100 Years of Ojai History” is an exhibit at the Ojai Valley Museum showcasing some of the most important women of the 19th and 20th centuries who shaped the culture of Ojai and left their mark on both Southern California and American history.
Agnes Baron, Meher Mount co-founder and lifetime caretaker, is one of those women whose work and life created a legacy in the valley and in the Meher Baba world.
Agnes helped found Meher Mount as an Avatar Meher Baba place of world pilgrimage promising to keep Meher Mount for Him through “hellfire and damnation.”
The exhibit runs from the opening on Friday, January 16, 2026 to Sunday, April 5, 2026. Museum hours are: Thursday-Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On the third Saturday of the month, the museum is open from 10:00a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
