A Keepsake for You - Ashes of Love from Baba's Tree
To honor Baba's Tree and its remarkable story, Meher Mount is offering a very special keepsake — a small vial of ashes from Baba's Tree, beautifully packaged and sent to you with love.
These ashes are from the tree that survived two fires, in 1985 and again in 2017. They carry the story of Baba’s Tree resilience and the power of love.
"It's the story of life. It's about reinventing yourself, of not being defeated. You get a lot of love, you get help, but you move on and do your best," said Storyteller Agnes Montano.
This vial of ashes itself is a free gift for you — or even for a friend. And your donation of only $15 will help cover the cost of the packaging, materials, and mailing.
If you’d like to give more, your support will also help in the care of Meher Mount, including fire prevention.
Will you make a gift today to receive this keepsake, or send one to a friend?
Love is meant to be shared. And a little extra from you will help pass this gift along to others.
In 1956, Avatar Meher Baba visited Meher Mount and sat alone beneath this coastal live oak deep silence.
For decades, people came to sit under the branches of Baba’s Tree. They came for inspiration, solace and rejuvenation. They came to feel close to something greater than themselves.
Then in December 2017, wildfire swept through Meher Mount. The Thomas Fire and strong winds toppled the canopy and severely burned the trunk. Baba’s Tree looked like it might not survive.
But volunteers came. They gave Baba's Tree the love and care it had always given them. Others sent their love from around the world. And the tree came back.
Today, Baba's Tree is flourishing. These Ashes of Love help tell this remarkable story of love and resilience — and a connection to Avatar Meher Baba.
Use this secure form to receive your free ashes from Baba’s Tree. Your $15 gift will help cover the cost of shipping, handling and packaging. Your extra gift will also help take care of Meher Mount.
