Welcome

Each short video will give you a quick orientation to Meher Mount and the major touchstones of Avatar Meher Baba’s visit.

Welcome to Meher Mount

As you enter you will see this sign. Now is a good time to play this video to give you a short overview of Meher Mount.

Avatar’s Point

After you have had an opportunity to check in at reception, you will want to walk to Avatar’s Point to see the spectacular views.

Baba’s Tree

At Avatar’s Point, you will be at Baba’s Tree — a major touchstone of Meher Baba’ visit. Visitors like you appreciate the silence and often find a moment of inspiration, solace, rejuvenation and peace. Spend time now taking advantage of your visit to Baba’s Tree.

Baba’s Path

As you start your return to the reception area, your walk will follow in the footsteps of Avatar Meher Baba. Just take the path marked with the stone sign that says “Baba’s Path.”

Baba’s Walkway

As you return from your walk to Baba’s Tree, you will see a stone pathway that Meher Baba walked upon to your right — between the Visitor Center and the Topa Topa Patio. Stop a moment to see this artifact and touchstone of Meher Baba’s visit.

Baba’s Fireplace & Darshan Courtyard

Next to the Visitor Center, on the side facing the Ojai Valley, is a stone fireplace. Baba’s Fireplace was part of the ‘Baba Room’ where Meher Baba met with His followers as gave darshan (His blessing) to them. The area in front is to become the Darshan Courtyard.
